I remember them mentioning in an instagram story a few years ago that they do in fact delete some negative comments because they find them mean and hurtful and would prefer to not see them (and they want to foster a positive community). No dude, people were upset because you made it sound like someone died when in reality it was a freakin torn ACL. It was crazy how his post made it sounds like people were upset because they didn’t want to see their lows, only their highs. The rest were still blindly supportive and still fawning over them. He played his fans and a few figured it out. He was Probably crying more because it will put a damper on their upcoming trips. Heck at this point she probably had surgery weeks ago. He knew at that point it was nothing serious. His crying on camera and dragging out what happened was just pathetic. Not because it was a life or death situation. She was only flown out of there because she couldn’t ski with a torn ACL. Yes they tried to make it sound like this just happened and they are processing the “trauma.” Girl tore her ACL, not fun, but not the end of the world. I think it was deleted because a few posters pointed out that they went skiing 7 weeks ago (someone’s friend spotted them at the resort) and heli skiing ended on April 15th. Early on someone called that it would be deleted. But remembering that they post everything delayed for privacy reasons makes it hard to not think this was strategic and calculated. Obviously they get to choose how much of their lives they share and with an emergency, there’s limited time to focus on social media. Of course they have a bunch of people (enablers) telling them to not let the “haters” get them down and how sad it is to have to explain this (they didn’t explain why they were stringing it out). Of course, in typical vlogger/influencer nature, it’s spun into “we want to be real with you guys and share the good and the bad, but you guys don’t want to see the bad” and accusing people of being “judgmental” and “negative”. People were afraid that something bad happened to one of their kids. just for it to end with a “to be continued”, leaving everyone hanging for a week until their next video! People are understandably upset, they care about this family and don’t like being left in suspense over real life situations. Posting IG stories talking about something “terrible” happening and leaving everyone hanging until the next day when they posted their vlog. I’m glad to see this is being talked about.
